Assistant Coach Larry Taylor

This is Coach Taylor’s 16th season as the Head Coach of UNL’s Men’s Hockey program. Larry has been coaching hockey for over 30 years at all levels. He has been recognized numerous times by the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), most recently earning Regional Coach of the Year honors in 2018 and 2020, as well as being awarded National M3 Coach of the Year in 2020. The ACHA named him Coach of the M3 Select National Team that was scheduled to compete in Europe in 2020. The Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA) has honored Coach Taylor as Coach of the Year three times, and Coach of the MACHA All-Star Team four times.
